Project Overview: Our team at Rivet Design Studio had the incredible opportunity to design the interior space for the Amazon Hyderabad office, which stands as the largest Amazon office globally. This monumental project encompassed 19 floors, each spanning 100,000 square feet, making it a true testament to the scale and significance of Amazon's operations in India.
Theme: "Thresholds of India" The overarching theme chosen for this project was "Thresholds of India," a concept aimed at capturing the intricate and diverse essence of the country. The design drew inspiration from the rich tapestry that defines India, showcasing the multiplicity and diversity that characterizes the nation. The office space was envisioned as a reflection of India's many layers, woven together from various textures, materials, and elements.
Design Concept: Our goal was to create an environment that would embody the cultural and geographical diversity of India while promoting a sense of unity and collaboration. The office design embraced the idea of thresholds as symbolic gateways, representing the interconnectedness of the many facets of India.
Key Design Elements:
Texture and Layers: The design incorporated diverse textures and layers, mirroring the complexity of India's cultural landscape. From traditional patterns to modern elements, the office space seamlessly blended these layers to create a visually engaging atmosphere.
